What is DraftXI?
An IPL fantasy season simulator. You draft an XI from real IPL players, then watch a full 18-match league plus playoffs play out — ball by ball for your games, instantly for the rest. There are no controls during a match: results are simulated from player ratings.
How is my team chosen?
You spin a wheel that surfaces 5 random players at a time and pick one to slot into your batting order. You get 3 re-rolls. Your XI must have at least 1 wicketkeeper and at least 5 bowlers/all-rounders.
Easy vs Hard mode?
In Easy mode every player shows their batting, bowling and strike-rate ratings while you draft. In Hard mode the ratings are hidden — you draft on names and roles alone.
How are scores simulated?
Every ball is a probabilistic outcome shaped by the batter’s batting rating and strike rate versus the bowler’s bowling rating. Innings realistically range from ~80 to ~240. Better teams win more often, but upsets happen.
How does the season work?
10 teams (your drafted side plus 9 real franchises) each play 18 matches. Win = 2 points, tie = 1, loss = 0, with net run rate as the tiebreaker. The top 4 enter IPL-style playoffs — Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the Final.
