This page explains what information DraftXI collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

What DraftXI is

DraftXI is a fan-made cricket draft and season simulator built for fun. It is not affiliated with the IPL, BCCI, any franchise, player, or broadcaster.

Information we collect

Account info: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to identify you across sessions.

Gameplay data: your drafted squad, match results, season history, and league entries (name, franchise, record, net run rate) are stored so you can view your history and compete on leaderboards.

Usage analytics: we use Firebase Analytics to log anonymous, aggregated events (e.g. draft started, match completed, league created) to understand how the game is used. These events are tied to a device identifier, not your name or email.

Local storage: if you play without signing in, we store league IDs you have joined in your browser's local storage so you can find them again later.

Advertising identifiers (mobile app only): our mobile app, Cricket Legacy, shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your device’s Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID or iOS Identifier for Advertisers) and technical data such as IP address and device type. See "Advertising" below.

How we use your information

To save and display your season history, drafted teams, and league standings.

To let friends see your results on a shared league leaderboard when you choose to create or join a league.

To improve the game by understanding aggregate usage patterns.

To show ads in our mobile app (Cricket Legacy) through Google AdMob; see "Advertising" below. The web version does not show ads.

We do not sell your data.

Advertising

Our mobile app, Cricket Legacy, shows ads using Google AdMob. The web version of the game does not show ads.

To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your device’s Advertising ID (the Android Advertising ID or iOS Identifier for Advertisers) along with technical data such as IP address, device type, and your interactions with ads. This information is shared with Google, acting as our advertising partner, to deliver and measure the ads you see.

You can reset your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings at any time. You can review how Google uses this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before serving personalized ads.

Sharing

League and Hall of Fame data (your chosen name, franchise, and results) is visible to anyone with the link to that league or leaderboard, by design — this is how the multiplayer features work.

We do not share your email address or Google account details with any third party.

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Analytics) to run the app. Your data is processed by Google in accordance with their own privacy terms.

In our mobile app, Google AdMob receives the advertising and device data described in "Advertising" to serve and measure ads. It does not receive your email address or account details. Aside from the analytics and advertising providers described in this policy, we do not share your personal information with third parties.

Your choices

You can play entirely without signing in — no account data is collected, though gameplay is stored locally and tied to leagues you explicitly join.

You can turn off in-game sound at any time; this has no effect on data collection.

To request deletion of your account data, contact us using the details below.

Children’s privacy

Cricket Legacy and DraftXI are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your data (see "Your choices"), we remove it from our systems. Advertising identifiers are controlled by Google and your device settings and are not stored by us.
